Africa Day Festival in the Park

Africa Day is an annual commemoration of the founding of the Organization for African Unity (OAU), which took place on May 25th, 1963. Africa Day is celebrated in many African countries as well as by people of African descent around the world. It is a day to honor African history, culture, and achievements, and to reflect on the progress that has been made toward the vision of a united and prosperous Africa.

To commemorate this day, the Humanistic Temple of Alkebulan church is hosting the 2024 Africa Day Picnic in the Park to raise funds for various projects to benefit the African diaspora around the world.
